cPanel makes it easy to automatically set up FTP accounts for your domain.

• In your cPanel, under the Files menu, click on the "FTP Accounts" icon.
• There will be some FTP accounts already listed. In most cases, you would want to use the first one, which accesses your root directory.
• Click on "Configure FTP Client"
• In addtion to manual settings, you'll be given a list of three FTP clients that can be automatically configured through your cPanel: Filezilla (ANA recommends Filezilla) and Core FTP for Windows and Cyberduck for Mac.
• Choose the application you want to use and select FTP configuration. Further instructions are available on screen at this point.
