Every hosting account comes with an anonymous FTP account that enables anyone to upload files to your website. In most cases, you will want to disable this option in your cPanel.

• In your cPanel, click on the "Anonymous FTP" icon
• Uncheck the box next to "allow anonymous access to ftp.yourdomain.com"
• Click save settings
